While today's focus on individualism may not always acknowledge those who prioritize the team, it's important to recognize that these individuals play a crucial role in achieving long-term success and boosting morale. Our September Star is being honored for the demonstration of traits such as cooperation, patience, problem-solving, and leadership, always putting her team first. We are excited to introduce you to Alicia Campbell, Loan Document Specialist, who works in the bank’s central loan department (CLD) in Whitehouse.
Alicia came to Austin Bank in 2016 following two years of service with Southside Bank where she worked as a teller and teller supervisor. She joined CLD then as a part-time loan documentation specialist working with non-real estate post verification and uploads. She has spent the last eight years honing her skills in those areas and now serves as the team lead for post verification. In her leadership role, she has trained many employees and fields questions from not only her team but also lending staff bank-wide. Prioritizing the good of the team over her own needs fosters a culture of trust and cooperation. Alicia is very good at reviewing complicated loan packages while insuring each loan is compliant with all regulations and bank policy. Though balancing a heavy workload, Alicia remains patient, willing to help any employee that reaches out.
A creative soul, Alicia thinks outside of the box to find solutions for problems she and her team encounter. She also uses that creativity as the unofficial party planner for CLD. She might even be a little competitive, always giving her all so that she can be on the winning team.
Alicia and her husband, Neal, live in Whitehouse with their four children – Dresden, Elodie, Caspian and Cordelia. They also own three ‘torties’ (tortoiseshell cats) named Merci, Peaches and Daisy. In her free time she enjoys photography and spending time with her extended family. Alicia is a graduate of Rusk High School and Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona.
