A strong work ethic is more than just a line on your resume. It’s the foundation on which employees can build professional growth, teams work most effectively, and organizations become more productive places where employees want to work. This month’s Star was nominated for the many traits that elevate her work ethic to one admired and appreciated by her coworkers. We are happy to introduce Natascha Greer, Loan Assistant in our Montgomery office, as our April 2025 Star of the Month.
Natascha joined the Austin Bank team with the opening of the Montgomery office in 2022. She has had a lengthy career in banking working as an executive lending assistant, branch operations manager, and in commercial lending. She and the Market President in Montgomery, Jed Crow, have had a working partnership for over 30 years. Pairing her experience with the accountability and responsibility she assumes in her role, Natascha routinely takes ownership for tasks, finds solutions, and has become the ‘go-to’ person for questions from customers and coworkers. She is professional, efficient, and comes to work daily with a positive attitude that others enjoy being around. Natascha makes it a personal mission to ensure each of her teammates in the office is looked after, whether that be in a professional sense (e.g. assisting with dual control tasks or lending a helping hand when other departments are busy) or personally (e.g. sharing home-baked treats or serving as the office medical advisor when someone is under the weather).
A resident of Conroe, Natascha and her husband, Kevin, have six grown children and nine grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family and baking. Natascha serves as a mentor for new employees through the bank’s mentorship program, sharing her knowledge of the banking industry. In addition, she volunteers her time working with the Salvation Army during the holiday season.
