July 2024 - Star of the Month - Cindy Davis

Our July Star of the Month has made a significant impact in her short time with the bank. She willingly shares her knowledge and experience bringing great value to her team and those around her. For these reasons, we are excited to introduce you to Cindy Davis, Loan Assistant to the Regional President for the Southeast region, and our July Star of the Month.

A member of the Austin Bank team since 2021, Cindy works in our Cleveland office. She brought with her several years of banking experience from Wells Fargo where she held positions as a teller, personal banker, and assistant branch manager. Her previous experience in retail and deposit operations are invaluable and appreciated. That experience paired with her consistent positive outlook make her a pleasure to work alongside. Cindy pours back into those around her, sharing from her wealth of information serving as a mentor to loan assistants throughout the Southeast region. This has played an integral part in the success of the new offices.

In addition to her regular job duties, Cindy is part of the team responsible for implementing the new Dark Matter Empower mortgage lending platform bank wide. She has devoted a large amount of time to becoming a subject matter expert on the topic, and has been recognized by team members for her dedication, insight and contributions to the project.

A current resident of New Caney, Cindy is originally from Canada where she competed as a pairs figure skater. She has competed in the Olympics, is a World silver medalist and Canadian national champion in the sport. Now, she and her husband, Chad, enjoy spending time with family, finding new places to visit, along with trying new foods. Cindy has one son, Chase, who is a student at Sam Houston State University.
