February 2024 - Star of the Month - Adrianna Sanchez

At Austin Bank, we operate daily on the core values that have sustained us for more than 120 years. Service is one of those. Here we say, “helping people is at the heart of what we do”, and this month’s Star is being recognized for living out that value every day. Known for her willingness to find a way to help not only customers but coworkers as well, she leads her team by example. We are proud to introduce you to Adrianna “Anna” Sanchez, Teller Operations Supervisor, in our Rusk office who is our February Star.

Anna joined the Austin Bank team as a teller in the Rusk office in 2021. Putting her years of customer service and managerial experience to work in the bank setting, she was quickly promoted to teller operations supervisor in September 2022. Actively demonstrating the level of service excellence she desires, Anna builds connection, camaraderie, and trust amongst her team members. As a lifelong member of the Rusk community, she has a deep concern for the people there that evidences itself in her daily interactions and her desire to seek the best possible outcomes for them. Our customers love stopping by to see her, appreciating the value she places on them as well as her sincerity and friendly demeanor.

Unafraid to lend a hand and help carry some of the workload, not just for her office but for the bank as a whole, Anna recently stepped up to assist the Frankston office during a time they were without retail management. Tara Hoot, Loan Assistant in Rusk, shares, “When you think of team work, dependability, honesty and leadership, Anna’s is one of the first names that comes to mind. You know that you can always count on her to get any job done.”

When not at the bank, Anna can be found running a small business, Sisters Charcuterie Co., with her twin sister. In addition, she is an active member of Oakland Missionary Baptist Church where she assists with the youth department, Christmas programs, church nursery, children’s church and vacation Bible school. Anna also serves as a mentor in the bank’s mentorship program.
