Austin Bank has a longstanding history of service to its customers. That promise is reflected in the Bank’s mission statement and upheld by the service non-negotiables and service commitments ingrained in its culture. This month’s Star puts these into practice daily in her role as a Customer Service Representative and is often the first impression of the Bank in her office. We are proud to announce Amy Jones, from our Tyler Cumberland Park office, has been selected as the December Star of the Month.
Amy joined the Austin Bank team in 2017 as a Teller at the Tyler West Loop office before moving to her current role of CSR in 2018. She takes on every customer encounter with a smile on her face and wins them over with her friendly personality. Amy makes customers feel comfortable and welcome at the Bank, and they often stop to chat with her on subsequent visits. Amy always makes it a point to call them by name and bring up a previous point of conversation demonstrating her attention to detail and concern for others. Coworkers also share that Amy is willing to help where needed. Whether it is helping tellers balance the vault, processing shipments that arrive during lunches or scanning documents to help loan assistants, Amy will do what she can to help when not busy with her own duties.
A graduate of Brownsboro High School, Amy now lives in Tyler. She is engaged to fiancé, Scott Spearman, and planning a wedding for 2021. Amy has two dogs, Lexus and Max, and enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. She volunteers her time working with the Texas Wounded Warrior Foundation and participates in the Junior Achievement Bowl-a-thon each year.
